Dear Reader, our site is undergoing maintenance at present. If images are missing or things look off, please bear with us for a few weeks.
I dream, I dream so many dreams,
Of things that could have been,
Of eyes so deep and piercing,
A smile that brightly gleamed.
My mind’s a broken record,
Your presence haunts my soul,
I dream so many times,
My spirit’s not consoled.
Why didn’t you just tell me?
Why just stand there and stare?
Why leave me with this funny pain?
My spirit’s almost bare.
I keep talking to Jesus,
He says you’ll come back soon,
But sometimes I don’t trust him,
you’re farther than the moon.
10 seconds changed my life,
I should have known it’s you,
I should asked the questions,
but the missing beard had me confused.
It’s funny when you think
I’ve dreamed of you so long,
Years before I knew you existed,
Your presence was still strong.
My diary tells a story,
Of promises from God,
One day we both will testify,
That He forged the path we trod.
