There’s nothing better that you can make of sukha bombil than bombil thesao. A simple mixture of crushed dried bombil and green chutney, it goes well with dal and rice and might easily become a staple.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams Bombay Ducks Sundried
  • 2 Tablespoons Green Chutney
  • 1 Tablespoon Sour lime juice

Instructions
 

  • Roast the dried bombil for a few minutes.
  • Thesao the bombil on a patha (that means crush the bombil with a grinding stone).
  • Add green chutney and sour lime juice and mix.
  • Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes before serving.

The dried bombil is usually salty, so you don’t need to add salt, but depending on the taste and your preference, add more salt.
