As tasty as the chicken heart stir fry, this chicken hearts masala is a delicious offal dish with a thick and tasty gravy. Perfect as starters or sides!
An offaly tasty dish, the chicken heart sukha masala is really easy to prepare in a matter of minutes. Simply add oil to a frying pan. Then add in the chicken hearts, followed by the chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garlic ginger paste and salt. Finally add water and allow to cook till done.
Serve with some lime wedges and sliced onions. It’s perfect as chakna aka appetisers alongside your drinks or can be eaten with some toasted bread or apas or chitiaps really anything. Goes really well with onion fried rice or turmeric rice and dal too!

Ingredients
- 100 grams Chicken Hearts
- 100 millilitres Water
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Oil Or Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Pepper Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- .5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

- Cook the chicken or bovine hearts in a pressure cooker to get them tender before stir frying.
