Beyond the Veil – Intimacy With Jesus

Dear Reader, our site is undergoing maintenance at present. If images are missing or things look off, please bear with us for a few weeks.

A few weeks ago my prophetic friend Rebecca told me that she had a vision of me peeping behind the veil of a curtain. What she didn’t know at the time was that I’d been praying to see beyond the veil for years (decades rather), you know to know what Abba wants me to know, to see as he sees, and to have that deep intimacy with him that I know when he wants me to go or stay or move or literally to do anything else.

And she didn’t even know that The Thorn by Martha Snell Nicholson is one of my favorite poems. This is what the last lines of the poem say. I told her that when she called to tell me.

“He never gives a thorn without this added grace,
He takes the thorn to pin aside the veil which hides His face.”

Anyways, some of my friends know I write very personal poems for them, that an onlooker might not understand. Most of the time, even I don’t understand till the person I’ve said it to tells me, X, Y, and Z is what it really meant.

But after Rebecca told me about me peeking behind the curtain (veil to me), this is what I penned. You know the regular bathroom poems that the Holy Spirit gives us. Thank Rebecca for this!

“Beyond the veil is where I want to be,
Beyond the veil, I’ll rest at your feet,
Beyond the veil, my sins have been forgiven,
my life has been restored, I’m loved and adored.

Beyond the veil, I can see your glory,
Beyond the veil, I learn the untold story,
Beyond the veil, your presence gives me joy,
I hope and love and live beyond the veil.

Beyond the veil, Jesus just with you,
Beyond the veil, I am renewed,
Beyond the veil, your glory falls on me,
I open up my eyes and see beyond the veil.
